Corporal Herman Ramos Sedillo

Herman Ramos Sedillo was born on November 28, 1918 to Evangelisto and Domitilia Ramos Sedillo.  He was raised at the family homestead in Monticello NM.  After graduation from Monticello HS, he attended NM Tech for one year.  In the fall of 1940 he enrolled at NMAMC and attended classes for the next two years in the College of Agriculture.  On April 1, 1942 he enlisted in the USAAF.  After training he was assigned to the 2533rd AAF Base Unit (Primary Pilot Training) located at Goodfellow Field in San Angelo TX.  On July 21, 1945 he died at Ft Bliss from leukemia. He was buried at Monticello Cemetery.  Corporal Herman Ramos Sedillo was 26 years of age at the time of his death.
